Bill Payment Solution Migration.

The Assignment

 

 

At the time Consulting Smart was incumbent at the London Borough of Greenwich, and due to the level of confidence that the client had in our ability, we were invited to act as advisory consultants to Finance on the Bill Payment Solution Project. The goal was to identify a more flexible and cost-efficient solution and then to move the solution from the existing supplier, Allpay.

Our Involvement

Our consultant was asked to conduct the research phase and make recommendations for a potential replacement solution whilst improving the service to the public and reducing costs.

 

 

Our Approach

Our experienced consultant researched the Bill Payment arena and short-listed potential providers for the basic solution. He then identified some innovative additional services that could be incorporated into the basic solution and identified suppliers to provide this functionality also. A scheme design document was produced detailing the various options for each of the supplier combinations and distributed to the Finance Director and Leader of the Council for review.

 

Our Clients Results

Both the FD and the Leader felt that the decision required our professional guidance and asked for us to join the Executive Board for the project which at the time of writing this Case Study was in the process of being implemented.
